A Morning in Tumalog Falls

Words are not enough to describe how I felt when I saw Tumalog Falls. It may not be the most beautiful waterfalls in the Philippines but it simply taken me away.

Reaching Tumalog Falls is bit difficult because vehicles cannot bring you down to the location of the falls. The steep downhill and uphill is difficult for a four-wheel vehicle. There are habal-habals that you can ride to bring you down to the waterfalls and will bring you back. The habal-habal cost P20 going down the falls and P30 if it will bring you up back to the entrance of the place.

We decided to take a walk going down the falls however when see how steep the downhill we’ve realized that we have to ride the habal-habal going back to our vehicle.

Tumalog falls is not the first waterfalls that I see. I saw several waterfalls but there is something in the falls that made it very beautiful in my eyes.

Tumalog Falls is much higher than Kawasan Falls which we visited the other day. It is also much wider however the color of its water is not as clear as Kawasan Falls. The water is also not deep; it is actually just a few inches above my knees so it is not really ideal for people who like to swim.

Since it is still early morning, the water going down the falls sparkles on the rays of the sun. It’s just amazing looking at how the rays of the sun give a dramatic feeling at the waterfalls.

Tumalog Falls is a must see destination in Oslob!
