Another overtime in the office... Another late night in the office. Another great opportunity to have late dinner in Kapitolyo, Pasig! It's been awhile since the last time I went to Kapitolyo. On that tiring night we went to Pioneer Center and have dinner at Match & Mix Asian Fusion.
Match & Mix is just a small place in Pioneer Center. They have several entree and rice choices. As the name implies, you will choose your entree and match and mix it with your choice of rice. Since it was our first time we asked the staff what would be the best mix.
The staff of Match & Mix recommended Adobong Pusit in Dilis Rice. The taste of the Adobong Pusit perfectly blends to the slightly salty and spicy rice. Aside from that, there are lots of crispy anchovies. They also have a very generous serving of rice. My friend really enjoyed the mix!
My friend who loves Tapa ordered the Beef Tapa Rice. Her main entree was Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs. She also loves the taste although the rice mix has only few beef tapa strips.
We also tried their Lechon Kawali in Bagoong Rice. The pork was very juicy and the rice has a mildly sweet taste. We were afraid that the combination might be salty but the staff assured us that it's also a great combination.
For me, I ordered Pork Sisig in Beef Tapa Rice. Well, I was luckier than my friend because I have lots of Beef Tapa on my rice. The pork sisig was very crunchy and is not too much spicy.
It was a very good dinner! Also, our food cost us not more than P200.00 each which already includes our drinks.
