It was just an ordinary night when my friend craved to eat at Secret Recipe. Started in the Philippines in 2007, it has now four outlets strategically located inside the malls. Secret Recipe is popularly known for its cakes however they are more than that. Aside from cakes and pastries they also offer pastas and meals with rice.
Secret Recipe has different food choices from vegetarian to famous Asian cuisine and to western food. Of course, they have a variety of cream cakes, cheesecakes, brownies and pies.

However that night, I don't feel like eating too much so I just ordered Lasagna. To our surprise the Lasagna was already good for two persons. Their Lasagna is really filled with beef and cheese. Also, the inside of the Lasagna is still hot even if it has been in our table for about fifteen minutes. My friends ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and Grilled Black Pepper Chicken.
According to my friend, the Grilled Black Pepper Chicken was delicious. You can really taste the pepper in the chicken however what's good about it is that it is not spicy. The pepper was mixed well with the sauce that it just give the right taste.

Since Secret Recipe is famous for its cakes, we never let go of the chance to taste their cakes. We ordered their Chocolate Banana which I believe is their version of Banoffee Pie. The cake was not so sweet and the banana compliments the taste. Aside from Chocolate Banana we also ordered the Marble Cheesecake which my friend really loves. She can't get enough of the Cheesecake.
Overall, Secret Recipe is a great place to dine because the ambiance of their restaurant is very cozy. They have outlets located at Fort Bonifacio, Shangri-la Mall, The Atrium at SM Megamall and Robinsons Midtown. Indeed, Life is sweet at Secret Recipe!
