Another Serving of Crepe

It seems like me and my sister really like La Creperie. After a long tiring week we had our dinner at La Creperie. We decided to try a different pasta, crepe and drinks.

Since last night, March 31, 2012 was also Earth Hour, La Creperie turned off some of their lights making a more cozy and dramatic effect on the place. There are also few customers last night unlike the last time we went there wherein there was only one table left.

My sister ordered the Shrimp Pomodoro for pasta and Double Chocolate Crepe. For drinks we tried Frozen Hot Chocolate and Cafe Glace.

The Shrimp Pomodoro is such a delight. The mix of the sauce is just right, not too sweet and not too sour. My sister just can't get enough of it's sauce.

Unlike the last crepe we tried, Double Chocolate has no fruits in it. Inside is sweet chocolate that oozes out from the crepe. On the top of the crepe is vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. This perfect for people who really loves sweet.

Anyone Likes Taho?

“Taho” is a popular Filipino street food that is being sold every morning. I remember always waiting for the taho vendor to drop by at our place. Every morning the vendor will shout “taho” and the kids with their container will rush towards him. Taho is like part of childhood.

Taho is made up of soya, “arnibal” and tapioca pearl. Arnibal is done by mixing brown sugar to boiling water until the syrup thickens.

Since I started working I no longer have a chance of eating taho because I have to wake up early in the morning for work. However, just recently Soya Bar opened up on a mall near our place. It offers the taho with a different twist. Aside from normal taho, they also have the soy soothers. Soy soother is their tahoccino. It’s a mixture of coffee and soya. This is one of their best sellers. They also have Chilled Taho, Soya Milk, Soy Bubble Milk Tea and Soya Frost.

I have already tried their taho and the Soy Bubble Milk Tea. I love the tapioca pearls on their taho because it is so chewy. The Soy Bubble Milk Tea has three flavours to choose from: Almond, Vanilla and Pandan.

Aside from soy products they also have sandwiches, pastas and quesadillas. With Soya Bar you can enjoy your favourite taho anytime of the day.
